During my years running a studio in Japan, I was grateful to receive kind words from students and parents who felt our time together made a difference — and that appreciation has stayed with me as a teacher.

Now based in New York, I want to share that same approach with children here. This special experience class draws on the teaching methods I developed through training in Japan and abroad, offered in a welcoming environment where language is never a barrier.

Kids Class (Ages 4–6): A Class to Fall in Love with Ballet

Children discover the joy of moving their bodies to music, developing a sense of rhythm and expressiveness. We build core strength and instill the most fundamental skill of all — the correct posture of standing straight and aligned. Every one of our students is unique, and we provide individualized, attentive instruction tailored to each child's goals, physical condition, and personality.

Junior Class (Ages 7+): Serious Training Based on the Russian Vaganova Method

Movement grounded in the strict principles of classical ballet builds a harmonious and beautiful body. Over the first several years, we focus intensively on building the most important foundation. Incorrect body habits formed during this period can cause lifelong difficulties — which is why we teach patiently and progressively, providing the professional education your child deserves.

  • Class Times:

    • Kids Class (Ages 4–6): 11:30 AM – 12:15 PM

    • Junior Class (Ages 7+): 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM

  • Location: KAAGNY (149 West 24th Street, 6th Fl, New York, NY 10011)

  • Capacity: Limited to 15 students per class (first come, first served)

  • What to Wear/Bring: Comfortable clothing (t-shirt, leggings, etc.), bare feet or grip socks, water, towel

A Note for Parents

There is a parent waiting and observation area inside the studio! You can watch your child's progress up close, so even first-timers can participate with confidence.

Of course, while your child is in class, you're also welcome to enjoy nearby Chelsea Market or the High Line at your leisure.

The final 10 minutes of each class are reserved as a photo & video time so you can capture your child's shining moment up close!
